Questions from companies

Is recruitment from Uzbekistan legally sound?
Yes. All placements are ILO-compliant within the bilateral skilled-labour agreement between Germany and Uzbekistan. Jahnke is an official partner of the Uzbek government and works with state institutions. We guide the entire visa and recognition process, transparently and documented.
Which sectors do you recruit for?
Care, health and dentistry, logistics, skilled trades, production and hospitality. This includes nurses, dental assistants, professional drivers, mechatronics technicians, electricians, welders, machine operators and chefs.
How long until someone starts with us?
You receive first qualified candidate profiles within six weeks of the first call. Selection, contract, visa and recognition follow. The total time until the first working day depends on the occupation and the visa procedure — we give you a realistic timeframe for your case in the first call.
How do you select candidates?
We assess professional qualification, language skills and personal suitability before anyone is presented to you. We search with direct access to state institutions, universities and vocational training providers in Uzbekistan. Only those who fit your role are presented.
How well do the skilled workers speak German?
Language and technical preparation happen before arrival, not after. The level required depends on the role — care work differs from production. We do not propose anyone whose German is insufficient for the specific position.
What does the placement cost?
We talk about costs openly in the first call, with no hidden fees. The effort depends on occupation, number and timeframe, so we do not quote a flat rate blind.
Do the skilled workers stay, or are they gone after a few months?
Anyone who changes country for a job, learns a language and goes through a recognition procedure is planning long term. The first months are decisive: we support both sides beyond the first working day — settling into the company, everyday life in Germany, authorities. This support is a core service for us, not an optional extra.
What do we have to handle ourselves?
You conduct the interviews and decide. Documentation, visa application, professional recognition and dealings with authorities are ours, and we keep you informed. What happens inside your company — onboarding, team, workplace — stays with you.
Do you also place apprentices?
Yes. Alongside fully qualified workers we place young people from Uzbekistan into apprenticeships at German companies. Some have already learned the trade at home, others come from school with internships. Details are on the “Apprenticeships” page.
Is this temporary agency work?
No. We place people into permanent employment directly with you. There is no labour leasing and no ongoing dependency on us as a service provider.
Are you a member of an industry association?
Yes, Jahnke is a member of the Gesamtverband der Personaldienstleister e. V. (GVP), the German staffing industry association.
We have had bad experiences with recruitment agencies.
We hear that often. The difference is rarely in the promise but in what happens after the signature. For us the work does not end there: visa, recognition, arrival and the first months in the company are part of it. And if we cannot find anyone suitable for your needs, we tell you, instead of sending profiles that do not fit.
